Welcome to our April blog update! As the flowers bloom and the air fills with the sweet scent of spring, we find ourselves reflecting on the blessings of the past month and looking forward with excitement to the opportunities ahead.
Spring marks the awakening of nature and a season of renewal and growth for our community initiatives. Last month, we were truly blessed to serve over 100 children across three domestic violence shelters in partnership with the Domestic Violence Ministry, led by the tireless Aldenora Comeron for over 20 years. It's a testament to the power of compassion and the commitment to serving those in need.
What truly warms our hearts is the privilege to serve alongside partners who share our passion for serving and loving the underserved and under-resourced. Together, we are His hands and feet, spreading hope and healing to those who need it most.

One exciting initiative we're thrilled to share is our annual partnership with NMI Wireless. As part of our ongoing commitment to making a difference, we'll collect used phones yearly. In turn, NMI Wireless will generously donate to support our mission. It's a simple yet impactful way to give back and empower those in need.
We're already gearing up for our Back to School Bash in August 2024. This event is a cornerstone of our community outreach efforts, providing essential resources and support to under-resourced families in Homestead and West Kendall. We're currently seeking vendors who can provide free resources or donors who can adopt an area, ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple yet powerful goal: to help those in our community with compassion. Whether it's through providing a safe haven for children escaping domestic violence or ensuring that every child has access to education, we believe that together, we can make a difference.
